Description

You will manage and maintain Linux-based systems on AWS and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring stability and security across all infrastructure components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) instances on AWS.
• Deploy and maintain core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, SSM, and EBS.
• Perform OS patching, vulnerability management, and instance snapshots to prevent disruptions.
• Manage networking services including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM while implementing strict security controls.
• Monitor system performance, review error logs, and manage system backups.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Linux OS patching and OS-level vulnerability management.
• 7+ years of experience in security protocols, web browser security, and data encryption (at rest and key management).
• 7+ years of experience managing user accounts for large organizations.
• 5+ years of experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Chef.
• 5+ years of experience with multi-platform volume management (SVM, LVM, ZFS, NAS, or VERITAS).
• 5+ years of experience installing and maintaining services like Bind, Apache, nginx, and MySQL.
• 7+ years of scripting experience in Bash or Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Image management.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure, networking tools (iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy), and traffic analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Linux certifications such as RHCT, RHCE, or LPIC.
