Description

You will own the Linux infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and automation across production environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers in physical and virtual environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues involving routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
• Perform regular system backups, ensure data integrity, and support junior team members.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• Deep knowledge of RedHat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Perl scripting.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, or KVM).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
