We are looking for a Senior Linux/Unix Kubernetes Administrator with strong experience in enterprise Linux/Unix administration, Kubernetes, AWS, virtualization, storage, networking, and Disaster Recovery.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments. The role will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to deploy, migrate, and support enterprise applications and containerized workloads.

Scripting: Bash, Korn Shell (KSH), Python
Storage: LVM, RAID, SAN, NAS, S3, backup/recovery
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VLANs, load balancing, proxies
Containers: Docker, Podman
Virtualization: VMware, KVM, QEMU, Xen
Security: Linux hardening, IAM, ACLs, PAM, vulnerability scanning/remediation
DevOps: Git, GitLab, CI/CD
Disaster Recovery: Backup, recovery, failover, RPO/RTO
Design, configure, and manage complex Linux/Unix and Kubernetes environments.
Administer enterprise RHEL and AIX systems across on-premises and cloud environments.
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, including AWS EKS and Rancher.
Create, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes manifest files and Helm charts.
Develop, migrate, and manage infrastructure and services in AWS.
Configure and maintain Linux servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall, load balancing, and connectivity issues.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash/KSH and Python.
Implement Linux security hardening, access controls, IAM, and vulnerability remediation.
Manage SAN, NAS, LVM, RAID, S3, backup, and recovery environments.
Support Disaster Recovery activities and validate backup/failover procedures.
Work with development teams to support Tomcat/Java applications and containerized workloads.
Participate in CI/CD activities using Git/GitLab and related tools.
Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
Experience with AWS EKS/ECS or Azure AKS/ACI.
Experience with Rancher container management.
Strong experience with Helm and Kubernetes manifests.
Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience troubleshooting Java VM/Tomcat environments.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL deployment and configuration.
Experience with Maven or Gradle.
Experience supporting containerized applications in public cloud environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of Linux/Unix administration experience.
Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/AIX, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
US Citizen or Green Card holder only.
Must be able to work 20% onsite in Harrisburg, PA.
Must be available for an onsite interview.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of Linux/Unix system administration experience. Strong hands-on experience with RHEL and AIX. Strong Kubernetes/EKS and AWS experience. Experience with Bash/KSH and Python scripting. Knowledge of Linux storage, networking, virtualization, and Disaster Recovery. Experience with Docker/Podman, Rancher, Helm, and Git/CI/CD is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. US Citizen or Green Card required.
