Description

Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure and load balancing systems. You will manage F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) functions, including virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, and iRules.

Responsibilities

• Manage F5 LTM and GTM configurations, including virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, and iRules.
• Support load balancing across cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud.
• Plan and execute hardware upgrades and system migrations with minimal downtime.
• Analyze technical issues and provide architectural recommendations for internal and external teams.
• Monitor system health and ensure security products are patched regularly.

Required Skills

• 3+ years configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 VIPRION-based solutions in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years as a network administrator using, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment.
• 2+ years experience with cloud-based load balancers, servers, and network systems.
• In-depth knowledge of F5 VIPRION LTM and GTM systems.
• Experience with virtual F5 LTM/GTM and migrating from physical to virtual F5 instances.
• Proficiency in global and local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS.
• Experience with VMware and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field, or equivalent qualifying work experience.
