Description

Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Charlotte, NC, responsible for building and deploying scalable ML models to solve business problems. You will own the full ML lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering to productionization.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scalable ML models to solve real-world business problems.
• Own the full ML lifecycle including data exploration, feature engineering, model prototyping, validation, and productionization.
• Optimize and automate workflows using MLOps principles and best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and guide best practices across projects.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, including training, tuning, endpoints, and pipelines.
• Strong understanding of modern ML toolkits such as scikit-learn and XGBoost.
• Proven ability to work across large, complex datasets and cloud-based infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience translating complex ML concepts into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
