Senior Machine Learning Founding Engineer based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire lifecycle of engineering and machine learning solutions, from prototype to deployment on native Kubernetes or AWS.
• Architect and maintain highly optimized, scalable systems ensuring the highest data quality in production.
• Apply deep expertise in statistics and ML to validate assumptions, extract insights from raw data, and transform them into actionable metrics.
• Provide hands-on leadership to developers, instilling best practices in system design, code quality, and solution ownership.
• Act as the technical bridge, translating complex ML and engineering concepts to clients and non-experts while driving product strategy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in developing solutions, with at least 3+ years using Machine Learning algorithms in industry.
• Proficiency in Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker for building and deploying scalable systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and managing structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong background in statistical analysis and data science.
• Proven track record of owning solutions from initial prototype through to product integration and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling Geographical Information Systems (GIS) data using PostGIS, QGIS, ArcGIS, or geopandas.
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and AWS management.
• Experience with Redis in production environments.
