Description

You will architect, design, and build the next-generation cloud storage synchronization client for the Apple ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement core components of the macOS desktop application, focusing on the file synchronization engine.
• Drive implementation and maintenance of the File Provider Extension (FPE) to present cloud content as a virtual drive in Finder.
• Develop bidirectional sync algorithms handling conflict resolution, delta sync, and resumable transfers.
• Design and build desktop UI/UX elements using AppKit, including multi-window apps, panels, and menu bar features.
• Implement and manage system-level components like Finder Sync extensions and background processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience developing native macOS desktop applications.
• Expert proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Deep expertise with AppKit and Foundation frameworks.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with macOS File Provider Extension (FPE).
• Proven experience with code signing, notarization, and creating DMG/PKG installers.
• Proficiency with Instruments for performance analysis and crash log review.
• Expertise with Xcode, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with background processes and system-level macOS integrations.
• Familiarity with complex conflict resolution strategies in distributed systems.
