You will architect, design, and implement applications using software engineering best practices across mainframe and distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and code applications using modern software engineering standards.
• Develop JCAL and software code following customer-defined standards.
• Analyze root causes for batch job failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update REST APIs using the Spring Framework, including Boot, Cloud, Security, and Data.
• Perform source code repository management and deployment using DevOps tools.
• Investigate and repair application defects related to business logic, middleware, or DB2 databases.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in z/OS Mainframe development, including JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, Control-M, and VSAM.
• 7+ years of experience with Java systems and application analysis/design.
• 7+ years of combined experience in SOA, Microservice architecture, and RESTful web services.
• 4+ years of experience building responsive UIs with modern front-end technologies.
• Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
• Experience with Git, AWS, Swagger UI, and Ready API.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, SonarQube, and Urban Code.
• Experience with log analysis and resolution using Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Angular.
