Description
You will develop, debug, and maintain mainframe applications in a large corporate environment, owning the full lifecycle from coding to production support.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain code using IBM Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, and JCL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently, including on-call support for production incidents.
- Apply Agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security standards.
- Utilize Changeman and IBM Mainframe Utilities for version control and system operations.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, and JCL.
- Proficiency with CA7 and Changeman.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
