Description

You will develop and maintain critical mainframe applications across the full SDLC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize COBOL code for complex business logic.
• Manage database interactions using DB2 and VSAM data sets.
• Implement transaction processing via CICS and integrate systems with IBM MQ.
• Automate build and deployment processes using ChangeMan and CI/CD methodologies.
• Provide production support, including on-call rotation and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
• Proficiency in IBM MQ, VSAM, CA7, and ChangeMan.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of application resiliency and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
