Description

Own the development, debugging, and maintenance of critical mainframe applications within a large corporate environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code using IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, and JCL.
• Utilize Changeman and IBM Mainframe Utilities for version control and system management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production application issues in a timely manner, including on-call support rotations.
• Apply agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
• Collaborate within large teams to achieve organizational goals and support banking and cards systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, and IMS.
• Proficiency in IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL, CA7, and IBM Mainframe Utilities.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for large-scale corporate environments.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and agile practices.
• Experience with Changeman for change management.
• Knowledge of banking and cards domains is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduation.
