Description

Develop and maintain mainframe applications in a Z/OS environment, focusing on online issuer authorization and payment processing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement projects including impact analysis, design documentation, estimation, and post-implementation validation.
• Lead development efforts for associate and issuer mandates and enhancements within a Scrum model.
• Conduct code reviews and manage change releases, deployments, and production monitoring.
• Provide production support, including peak season monitoring, weekend coverage, and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe project development.
• Mandatory expertise in Assembler and CICS.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF command utilities, IOF, CA7, and Endevor.
• Experience using File-Aid/File-master, SPUFI, and REXX.
• Ability to use debugging tools for batch and online environments, such as Xpediter or Abend-Aid.
• Familiarity with Splunk and incident/change management request tools.
• Experience working within a Scrum model using Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in payment processing and authorization application development.
