Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-volume mainframe applications for the banking and credit card domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications with CICS and JCL integration.
• Optimize DB2 (z/OS) performance through SQL tuning and indexing strategies.
• Integrate mainframe systems with distributed platforms using IBM MQ.
• Support online and batch credit card transaction processes with high availability.
• Ensure security, compliance (PCI-DSS), and disaster recovery standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of Mainframe development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in DB2 (z/OS) design and performance tuning.
• Proficient in COBOL application development and maintenance.
• Experience with JCL for batch processing.
• Recent experience with CICS for online transaction processing.
• Recent experience with IBM MQ for messaging and system integration.
• Proven background in large enterprise environments.
• Local to New York City, NY (No relocation).
