Description

You will serve as a Senior Mainframe Developer responsible for end-to-end application development and system oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning, and applications development to meet business needs.
• Monitor and control all development phases: analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze complex problems using specialty knowledge to evaluate business processes and industry standards.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation based on business usage analysis.
• Advise users and clients on technical issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall experience, with 7+ years focused on Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• 5+ years of experience with MessagePoint and Exstream content/composition software.
• 3+ years of experience using Java/Python and UNIX.
• 3+ years in the SDLC, specifically utilizing Jira, RDZ, and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Cobol, Jcl, Db2, Messagepoint, Exstream, Java, Python, Unix, and Jira.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
