Description

Lead application development and administration for enterprise mainframe systems on System Z.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise COBOL applications and manage DB2 application development with stored procedures.
• Administer IS_AMS_Mainframe_CICS environments and execute complex job scheduling using JCL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using debugging and analysis tools like XPEDITOR and Abend-AID.
• Maintain code in PANVALET and utilize File Aid and Easytrieve for data manipulation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of mainframe development experience.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 with proficiency in VSAM and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CICS transaction processing.
• Proficiency with CA7 for job scheduling, PANVALET for code management, and Abend-AID for debugging.
• Competency in SharePoint and ServiceNow for documentation and ticketing.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Background in finance or logistics sectors.
