Description

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications while mentoring junior engineers.

You will own the full lifecycle of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 solutions, optimizing performance and resolving complex production issues. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and build mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Optimize existing programs for performance and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with batch processing systems.
• Experience with online transaction processing (OLTP) systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Any Graduate degree.
