You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on IBM z/OS, ensuring system stability and efficient data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2, and REXX within IBM z/OS environments.
• Manage mainframe OS components, functionalities, and job control using JCL.
• Process data utilizing mainframe utilities such as SORT, MERGE, SPUFI, QMF, File Aid, TSO, and ISPFF.
• Operate within SCM environments using tools like Endevor, ChangeMan, or Rational Developer for System z.
• Manage job scheduling workflows and debugging using XPEDITOR and schedulers like CA7, Control-M, or ESP.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Deep expertise in IBM z/OS architecture and components.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, REXX, VSAM, CICS, IMS, PL/1, and Assembler.
• Hands-on experience with JCL for job control.
• Experience with job schedulers such as CA7, Control-M, or ESP.
• Familiarity with SCM tools like Endevor, ChangeMan, or Rational Developer for System z.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JCPL or PL1.
