Description

You will develop, lead, and support scalable mainframe application solutions within a structured SDLC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and lead interactive teams to implement scalable application solutions.
• Tune mainframe performance by reducing I/Os, CPU Time, MSUs, and MIPs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Execute application lifecycle stages including automation and ongoing support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and SQL.
• Experience with MQ-Series and performance tuning tools (Strobe, iStrobe, Platinum Detector).
• Familiarity with version management (Endeavor) and debugging (Intertest, Abend-AID).
• Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Proficiency in following a structured SDLC (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Production).
• At least 7+ years in application development, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and problem solving.
