Description

You will develop, maintain, and support scalable mainframe applications within a structured SDLC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable application solutions using core mainframe technologies.
• Tune and plan mainframe performance to reduce I/Os, CPU Time, MSUs, and MIPs.
• Lead an interactive team through the full application lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Manage application support and automation tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning using Strobe, iStrobe, and Platinum Detector.
• Familiarity with version management (Endeavor) and debugging tools (Intertest, Abend-AID).
• Experience with job scheduling using Control-M.
• Demonstrated ability in structured SDLC processes (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Production).
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management.
