Description

You will design, code, and unit test mainframe software on a predefined schedule to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability. You will perform system analysis and design in accordance with established procedures, providing accurate time estimates for work completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CICS and MQ applications with strong hands-on expertise.
• Write well-documented COBOL, DB2, and VSAM programs following department coding standards.
• Execute system analysis and design tasks within Agile methodology and SDLC frameworks.
• Proactively explore systems to learn and deliver results with minimum supervision.
• Communicate effectively in both office-based and remote environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in CICS and MQ.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, and VSAM for batch processing.
• Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to estimate time needed to complete work accurately.
