Description

You will maintain and evolve mainframe systems using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL, while supporting distributed architecture and cloud modernization efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
• Manage and optimize DB2 databases and write complex SQL queries.
• Support distributed system integration through REST APIs and web application functionality.
• Apply foundational AWS knowledge to assist with potential modernization transitions.
• Track tasks and manage project workflows using Jira within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and DB2 administration.
• Understanding of Oracle, SQL, or other distributed databases.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs and distributed web application architecture.
• Proficiency in Jira for task tracking and Agile project management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
