Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using core IBM technologies. You own the full lifecycle of COBOL programs, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug COBOL programs for business-critical systems.
• Manage data storage and retrieval using VSAM and DB2 databases.
• Implement transaction processing logic using CICS.
• Automate job scheduling and batch processing via JCL.
• Collaborate on version control and integration using Git and IDZ.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in DB2 database management and SQL.
• Experience with VSAM file systems.
• Knowledge of CICS transaction processing.
• Proficiency in JCL for batch job execution.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Experience with IBM Debug Tool (IDZ) is advantageous.
• Any Graduate degree.
