Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications for banking and financial services systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, code, test, document, and install medium-complexity projects.
• Manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule.
• Apply System Life Cycle Development Methodology to all project phases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mainframe development experience using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with industry-standard PC products and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hogan, FIS ALS, or the Compuware suite (File-Aid, Abend-Aid, Xpeditor).
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Background working in the banking or financial services industry.
