Key Skills: COBOL, CICS, VSAM, Mainframe, DB2

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL applications running in CICS for business-critical workflows.
• Design and implement data access and updates using VSAM datasets, including file handling and record-level operations.
• Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes with appropriate testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to ensure reliable releases, including regression testing and defect resolution.
• Support DB2-related changes and troubleshoot database interactions where applicable.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 8 years of relevant mainframe development experience
• Hands-on experience with CICS
• Strong COBOL development experience on mainframe platforms
• Proficiency with VSAM for dataset design and data access
• Experience supporting production releases, testing, and troubleshooting of mainframe applications

Good to Have:

• DB2 experience for database integration and troubleshooting

Education: B.E. in Computer Engineering
