Description

Lead the analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance of application software across mainframe and Java environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, code, test, and maintain application software using COBOL, CICS, MVS, and Java technologies.
• Partner with senior developers and architects to identify business needs and design technical solutions.
• Design and document technical requirements for business applications.
• Participate in 7x24 on-call system support on a shift basis.
• Troubleshoot customer issues quickly and effectively.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development and implementation.
• Expertise in COBOL, CICS, MVS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Proficiency with TS0/ISPF, FileAid, CA-EasyTrieve, CA-7, Control-M, and Abend-AID.
• Strong Java stack experience including J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, servlets, JDBC, Struts, JSR-352, and Hibernate.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in BFS or Credit Card domains.
• Knowledge of Application Modernization.
