Description

Lead project teams to deliver large-scale data solutions involving ingestion, processing, storage, and stream or batch analytics for enterprise digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead experienced project teams to deliver scalable data solutions and ensure performance.
• Program, test, and deploy frameworks and platforms designed by architects.
• Consult with customers regarding high-end software products and services.
• Implement end-to-end data pipelines for streaming and batch integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or technical consulting.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines for streaming and batch integrations.
• Practical use of tools such as Airflow, Spark, Glue, or other cloud-native services.
• Expertise in data modeling, warehouse design, and Fact/Dimension implementations.
• Experience with code repositories and Continuous Integration.
• Fluent German language skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience with OpenStack.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
