Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of GCP-based data pipelines and analytics platforms while managing a team of data engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of large-scale data integration and analytics projects in GCP.
• Manage a team of data engineers and collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee data modeling, ETL/ELT process optimization, and implementation of data governance practices.
• Ensure high standards of data security, compliance, and performance across data systems.
• Stay current on emerging GCP features, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 14-18 years of experience in data engineering, cloud data solutions, or enterprise data management.
• 3–5 years delivering large-scale data integration or analytics projects in GCP.
• Strong expertise with GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with modern ETL/ELT frameworks for batch and streaming processing.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Solid background in data modeling (dimensional, normalized, canonical).
• Understanding of data governance, security, quality, and metadata management.
