Description

Lead technical direction and development execution for platform components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive system architecture and design decisions to ensure high performance, availability, and throughput.
• Define and promote engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices across teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior and Staff Engineers, managing performance and career growth.
• Own planning, prioritization, and on-time delivery of engineering projects in partnership with product and business stakeholders.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for team-owned components to maintain system reliability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of progressive hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong depth in C/C++ development on Linux.
• 3+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Proven experience contributing to system architecture for high-performance platforms.
• Strong expertise in data structures, algorithmic complexity, and systems programming.
• Solid hands-on background with TCP/IP, Multicast network protocols, and multi-threading.
• 3+ years of hands-on scripting experience with automation in complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop engineering talent.
