Description
You will lead and grow the network engineering team responsible for expanding global network capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage talent development and performance, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and individual growth.
- Partner with senior leadership to co-develop multi-year technology roadmaps.
- Own the annual team operating budget, including monthly forecasting and CapEx/OpEx management.
- Drive strategic planning, quarterly business reviews, and the development of key performance metrics.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure successful service delivery.
- Introduce and mature Scrum methodology and ceremonies within the networking team.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of progressive experience in global IT, network operations, or engineering and design.
- 3+ years of experience in people management, talent development, and performance management.
- Proven background in Data Center management, Cloud computing, and network design and implementation.
- Experience implementing Scrum methodology within engineering teams.
- Strong ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Ability to present strategic ideas and influence senior management.
- BS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Certified Advanced Scrum Master.
- Network certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, ACMA, SolarWinds, F5-CA, or PCCSA.
- MBA.
