Description

Lead the network engineering team to expand global capabilities and mature operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage talent development, performance reviews, and individual growth plans for the engineering team.
  • Own the annual team operating budget, including monthly forecasting and CapEx/OpEx management.
  • Partner with senior leadership to co-develop multi-year technology roadmaps and strategic plans.
  • Drive quarterly business reviews and define key performance metrics for the department.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Introduce and mature Scrum methodology and ceremonies within the networking team.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in global IT, network operations, or engineering and design.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, talent development, and performance management.
  • Proven background in Data Center management, Cloud computing, and network design and implementation.
  • Experience implementing Scrum methodology within engineering teams.
  • Strong ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to present strategic ideas and influence senior management.
  • BS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Advanced Scrum Master.
  • Network certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, ACMA, SolarWinds, F5-CA, or PCCSA.
  • MBA.
