Lead a high-performing engineering team to deliver scalable backend services and modern UI applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, providing regular feedback and supporting career growth.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services and modern UI applications.
• Ensure delivery of secure, high-performing integrations and user interfaces while driving service reliability and performance tuning.
• Guide the development and maintenance of streaming pipelines for real-time data processing and integration.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data & Analytics stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver iteratively using Agile practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, and Angular.
• Experience building microservices and managing Kafka streaming pipelines.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and NoSQL datastores (Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Skilled in automated functional testing, JIRA, and observability tooling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications and driving adoption of agent-style tools for automation.
• Familiarity with reliability patterns for LLM applications and responsible AI fundamentals.
• Experience with Oracle databases and production readiness practices.
