Description
You will lead the strategy, implementation, and management of payment processing systems and teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize payment processing workflows and systems.
- Lead a team of specialists through coaching, guidance, and performance management.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payment systems in collaboration with IT, finance, and product teams.
- Manage relationships and contract negotiations with payment processors, banks, and financial partners.
- Enforce compliance with PCI DSS, AML, and other regulatory standards while implementing fraud detection and risk mitigation protocols.
- Monitor system performance using KPIs and manage chargeback dispute rates to remain within guidelines.
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in payment systems, transaction processing, or a related role.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and platforms.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements including PCI DSS and AML.
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Ability to manage vendor relations and negotiate service agreements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payment gateways, merchant accounts, or fintech solutions.
- Familiarity with emerging payment methods such as mobile wallets, cryptocurrencies, or instant payments.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
