Description

You will lead the strategy, implementation, and management of payment processing systems and teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize payment processing workflows and systems.
• Lead a team of specialists through coaching, guidance, and performance management.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payment systems in collaboration with IT, finance, and product teams.
• Manage relationships and contract negotiations with payment processors, banks, and financial partners.
• Enforce compliance with PCI DSS, AML, and other regulatory standards while implementing fraud detection and risk mitigation protocols.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in payment systems, transaction processing, or a related role.
• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position.
• Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and platforms.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements including PCI DSS and AML.
• Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage vendor relations and negotiate service agreements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with payment gateways, merchant accounts, or fintech solutions.
• Familiarity with emerging payment methods such as mobile wallets, cryptocurrencies, or instant payments.
