Lead strategy and operations for payment processing systems and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize payment processing systems and workflows.
- Lead a team of specialists through coaching, guidance, and performance management.
- Oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of payment processing systems.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and product teams to integrate payment solutions.
- Manage relationships with payment processors, banks, and financial partners, including contract negotiation.
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in payment systems or transaction processing.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and platforms.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements including PCI DSS and AML.
- Ability to resolve issues in payment workflows to minimize downtime and transaction errors.
- Experience managing chargeback dispute rates within guidelines.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payment gateways, merchant accounts, or fintech solutions.
- Familiarity with emerging payment methods such as cryptocurrencies, mobile wallets, or instant payments.
