Lead strategy and operations for payment processing systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize payment processing systems and workflows.
• Lead a team of specialists through coaching, guidance, and performance management.
• Oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of payment processing systems.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and product teams to integrate payment solutions.
• Manage relationships with payment processors, banks, and financial partners, including contract negotiation.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in payment systems or transaction processing.
• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position.
• Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and platforms.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements including PCI DSS and AML.
• Ability to resolve issues in payment workflows to minimize downtime and transaction errors.
• Experience managing chargeback dispute rates within guidelines.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with payment gateways, merchant accounts, or fintech solutions.
• Familiarity with emerging payment methods such as cryptocurrencies, mobile wallets, or instant payments.
