Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple engineering squads within the enterprise team that curates, governs, and serves Nike Direct and Marketplace data products.
- Partner with Product leadership, Architects, BI Experience leadership, Platform leadership, and Data Governance to shape strategy, roadmap, and execution.
- Manage Engineering Managers and/or Senior ICs, grow technical talent, and own the delivery, reliability, and operational health of data products.
- Own the delivery of data products in your portfolio including APIs, pipelines, consumption and ontology layers.
- Drive a single source of truth for Nike Direct and Marketplace data in collaboration with BI Experience teams.
- Co-create agentic and AI-powered consumption experiences with BI Experience leadership, ensuring business context and metric consistency.
- Own production reliability, security, and cost across your squads by setting SLAs, leading major incident response, and driving operational maturity.
- Partner with the Platform team to adopt recommended toolkits and blueprints, and influence the platform roadmap where gaps exist.
- Attract and hire exceptional engineers, build an inclusive and high-trust culture, and grow people across levels from SWE I to Principal.
- Represent the organization in cross-Nike forums, contribute to enterprise data architecture and governance decisions, and translate strategy into clear team commitments.
Experience Required: Minimum of 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years managing software or data engineering teams (including managing managers preferred).
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent experience
