Description

Own manual testing, API verification, and defect tracking for payment systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and exploratory testing to validate functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform API testing and verify request/response behavior for payment-related endpoints and integrations.
• Test end-to-end payment flows, including validation of inputs, error handling, and expected outcomes.
• Validate UI behavior, form validations, field-level checks, and user flow correctness.
• Log defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence.

Required Skills

• 7-9 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong understanding of API testing, including request/response validation and endpoint behavior checks.
• Experience with UI testing and user interface validation.
• Understanding of the payments domain to validate payment flows and edge cases.
• Ability to combine UI and API verification for end-to-end functional correctness.
• Strong discipline in test execution and defect reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
