Description

You will lead manufacturing process development and machine programming for complex milled parts and sub-assemblies in East Aurora, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing procedures, operation sequencing, and detailed work instructions for complex milled components.
• Create and prove out CNC programs through hands-on machine interaction and shop floor support.
• Coordinate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts across engineering groups for new and existing programs.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and capital equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and process stability within automated manufacturing cells.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience specifically with milled parts.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming for CNC milled parts.
• Fluency in G&M Code programming.
• Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Expertise in cutting tool and workholding selection and design.
• Experience creating efficient CNC programs for complex milled parts.
• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent seasoned experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of quick change and automation tooling/workholding.
