Description

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturing projects from contract award to completion.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for customers and internal stakeholders regarding project status and requirements.
• Direct project personnel and coordinate design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation phases.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and scope to mitigate variances and manage change orders.
• Manage project financials including forecasting, cost accruals, reconciliation, and invoicing.
• Oversee vendor progress, material purchasing requirements, and requisition development.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record managing high-impact projects with multiple business functions.
• Experience managing vendor relations and complex stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Experience developing and managing project financials and budgets.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and contract requirements.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year university, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Skills

• PMI or PMP certification.
• Experience with Industry Standard Codes such as ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, or OSHA.
• Experience using Quickbase or JD Edwards.
