Description

You will build complex geospatial visualizations and manage data integration within the Mapbox ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced mapping visualizations using Mapbox GL JS to solve complex spatial problems like bi-directional traffic flow.
• Implement efficient data filtering and plotting techniques for large datasets.
• Optimize map performance by managing data limits and architectural trade-offs.
• Manage and transform GIS and GeoJSON data formats for seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Mapbox GL JS and JavaScript.
• Expertise in data visualization and mapping tools.
• Deep understanding of Mapbox architecture and data management best practices.
• Strong proficiency with GeoJSON and GIS data formats.
• Solid grasp of GIS tools, concepts, and data mining.
• Ability to navigate performance trade-offs inherent in mapping tool data limits.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AngularJS and API development.
• Knowledge of Quarkus.
