Senior Maui Mobile Software Developer based in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile features using C#, .NET MAUI, and ReactiveUI while continuously refining existing codebases.
• Own the mobile application architecture, enforce coding standards, and review peer code to drive technical excellence.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and end-users to plan, refine, and size user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Apply TDD, BDD, and refactoring practices to minimize technical debt and support long-term system stability.
• Support live systems during appropriate time zones and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET (Framework 4.x, Core, or Standard).
• 5+ years of combined mobile development experience using Xamarin, MAUI, or Blazor, including application deployment.
• 8+ years of experience in automated testing using NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow, Playwright, or Appium.
• Strong grasp of Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including TDD, BDD, pair programming, and refactoring.
• Experience designing efficient systems using object-oriented, event-driven, and domain-driven design (DDD) paradigms.
• Proficiency with version control (Git), LINQ, and ORMs such as Fluent NHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Ability to support production systems, troubleshoot live issues, and thrive in a self-managing team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Cloud services, DevOps, and functional reactive programming (Rx).
• Exposure to other mobile frameworks like React Native or Flutter, JavaScript, and SQL Server (2016+).
• Background in logistics, retail, banking, or insurance industries is ideal.
