Description

Lead mechanical engineering design and project execution for large-scale facility projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial design approaches for major project phases and oversee mechanical engineering work.
• Supervise project design and progress, coordinating directly with City, State, and County officials.
• Resolve complex technical challenges, including conflicting design requirements and coordination hurdles.
• Review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates while participating in bidding and construction administration.
• Mentor and supervise less experienced engineers and technical support personnel.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems design.
• Proven ability to adapt and modify standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating large-scale engineering work.
• Ability to manage project site observations and construction administration.
• Experience reviewing plans and preparing technical contract documentation.
• Strong technical judgment for independent evaluation and selection of engineering criteria.
