Description

Design manufacturing equipment for testing and assembling centrifugal and multi-stage compressors while leading new product development for compressor subsystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing equipment for the testing and assembly of centrifugal and multi-stage compressors.
• Perform design calculations in accordance with ASME standards and execute DFMEA, risk analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Coordinate with vendors for manufacturability checks, RFQs, prototype development, and testing.
• Manage engineering changes and troubleshoot technical issues during production.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Solidworks for 3D CAD design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with centrifugal compressors or rotating equipment.
• Expertise in new product development (NPD) from concept through launch.
• Knowledge of machining, material properties, and material selection.
• Experience with casting and manufacturing systems.
• Ability to manage engineering change management processes.
• Experience supporting documentation for certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in rotating equipment design and development.
