Description

Lead mechanical design for custom LV/MV switchgear systems and mentor junior engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design enclosures and components for switchgear systems.
• Ensure all designs meet UL/NEMA compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Mentor junior mechanical engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in mechanical design.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD, specifically Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Expertise in sheet metal design and enclosure design.
• Knowledge of manufacturability principles.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Mechanical Engineering degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LV/MV switchgear.
• Familiarity with thermal/mechanical analysis or FEA.
