Description

Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices within an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix, and Spring Data.
• Implement messaging components using Kafka consumer and producer patterns.
• Secure microservices using OAuth 2.0 grant types and OpenID Connect.
• Manage application deployment and monitoring within AWS and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or PCF.
• Apply microservice patterns including circuit breakers, service discovery, and API gateways.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix, and Spring Hibernate/Spring Data.
• Hands-on development with Kafka (Consumer/Producer).
• Experience with unit test automation using JUnit, TestNG, or Mockito.
• Ability to create OpenAPI specifications for top-down and bottom-up code generation.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience deploying and monitoring applications in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, or DocumentDB, including data sharding and read/write optimizations.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent progressive experience.
