Description

You will design, develop, and implement large-scale n-tiered web-based applications using .NET technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional specifications into working code and prepare technical documentation.
• Design and develop WCF data services, RESTful services, and Windows services.
• Estimate development effort for requirements and conduct module code reviews.
• Perform systems analysis, coding, testing, and implementation of web applications and data interfaces.
• Collaborate with business analysts to implement application enhancements.

Required Skills

• 8-9+ years of equivalent work experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Expertise in C#, .NET webforms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong database design and scripting skills using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with WCF, Web API, Web Services, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proven experience with Windows Services, SSRS reports, and SSIS packages.
• Proficiency with Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Experience managing applications within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of version control and defect tracking, preferably TFS or Azure DevOps.
• Experience building and supporting mission-critical applications in large-scale distributed environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of .NET Core, MVC framework, JSON, SOAP, and XML.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and cloud platform services.
• Experience with IIS, Windows Server, and configuration management automation.
