Description

You will manage the full middleware lifecycle, focusing on builds, deployment, patching, and automation across WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, and IIS environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain WebSphere (V7, V8.5, V9.0), IHS, IIS, Tomcat, and Apache HTTP Server environments.
• Design and implement automated CI/CD code deployment systems using Jenkins declarative pipelines.
• Perform patching, maintain security compliance, and support audit requirements for middleware.
• Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshooting memory leaks, thread dumps, and heap dumps.
• Create process documentation and train team members on middleware operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting production environments with IBM WebSphere, IHS, and IIS.
• 2+ years of experience with Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and Oracle WebLogic.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows, Linux (CentOS, RHEL, SLES), and AIX.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (bash/sh) and managing software installation on Windows and Linux/Unix.
• Experience creating and maintaining certificates using OpenSSL, keytool, SSL protocols, and ciphers.
• Ability to design automated CI/CD solutions for middleware and IIS environments.
• Experience applying patches to middleware environments and supporting security audits.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Subversion, Maven, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in YAML, JACL, Jython, PowerShell, and Python.
