Description

You will manage and support middleware infrastructure and application server environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer middleware products including Apache, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Manage deployments using Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, BitBucket, and Celestial.
• Automate tasks through shell, jython, and perl scripting.
• Maintain network infrastructure connectivity involving HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, load-balancers, firewalls, and proxies.
• Support containerized environments and Java-based frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Proficiency with Apache, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Strong scripting skills in shell, jython, and perl.
• Deep understanding of network protocols and infrastructure including TCP/IP, TLS, and DNS.
• Experience with release and deployment tools such as Ansible and BitBucket.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Prior experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or Ping Access Administration.
• DevOps experience and familiarity with BMC Remedy or Harmon.
