Description

You will own the middleware infrastructure, focusing on WebSphere environments and Linux administration. You will maintain stability across complex network and application layers.

Responsibilities

• Administer WebSphere versions 8.5 and 9.0 within an infrastructure-heavy environment.
• Configure and maintain JBoss, Web Tango, Apache Tomcat, and Web Methods.
• Execute Linux administration tasks to ensure middleware stability and performance.
• Support network infrastructure components including HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, and B2B links.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Middleware Engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in WebSphere (8.5/9.0).
• Hands-on experience with JBoss, Web Tango, Apache Tomcat, and Web Methods.
• Extensive J2EE experience.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Tomcat, Apache, and WebLogic.
• DevOps experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of BMC Remedy, Harmon mDeliver, and BMC Bladelogic Server Automation.
• Experience with IIS and .NET Framework.
