Description

You will lead the integration and operationalization of machine learning models within the Search domain, bridging MLOps, data science, and leadership to maintain robust ML infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Integrate recommender systems into customer-facing products through collaborative software engineering.
• Deploy ML systems by managing infrastructure requirements including CPU, GPU, and networking.
• Operationalize ML models using established MLOps methodologies.
• Execute A/B testing and iterative optimization using data-driven approaches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or MLOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI.
• Proficiency in BigQuery and general cloud technologies.
• Experience with recommender systems, specifically embedding-based retrieval, reinforcement learning, and transformers.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals for production-level integration.
• Knowledge of ML infrastructure needs, including CPU/GPU and networking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience bridging gaps between data science, MLOps, and leadership.
