Description

Lead native mobile development for iOS and Android, owning the release pipeline and shipping features based on customer needs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead native mobile development for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Own the release pipeline and build integrations with third-party services.
• Write and expand automated test coverage to ensure app quality.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and establish strong technical practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with native iOS and Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, Xcode, Java, and Android Studio.
• Experience shipping and supporting production mobile apps.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and ability to write testable, maintainable code.
• Appreciation for clean code, clear documentation, and thoughtful code reviews.
• Familiarity with mobile UI patterns, animations, and platform conventions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Firebase services (real-time data, storage, authentication).
• Experience scaling a startup or working in an autonomous environment.
• Experience with Node.js back-end services or serverless/cloud functions.
